Also on hand for the Jan. 1 launch event will be a pair of Cincinnati sports legends — George Foster, a key member of the Cincinnati Reds’ Big Red Machine teams that won the World Series in 1975 and 1976, and two-time Pro Bowl nose tackle Tim Krumrie, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1983 to 1994.
At 11:20 a.m., officials from BetMGM will unveil the new paint scheme for the BetMGM-branded car NASCAR driver Kyle Busch will be driving this coming season as a new member of the Richard Childress Racing team.
Reds mascots Mr. Redlegs and Rosie Red will be on the premises for photos at the Jan. 1 launch event, and parties of two or more will receive five complimentary Wings and Rings chicken wings.

The space will continue to offer food from Cincinnati-based sports restaurant franchise Wings and Rings, as well as a full-service bar.
During the baseball season on game days, the BetMGM Sportsbook space will not be accessible from ticketed areas of the stadium. The BetMGM Sportsbook at GABP is accessible from the arena plaza level entrance.
Great American Ball Park’s BetMGM Sportsbook will be open year-round, Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Saturday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight. You must be 21 or older to enter.
BetMGM also launching online sportsbook app in Ohio
With its opening in early 2022, the BetMGM Sportsbook at the Washington Nationals’ Nationals Park became the first retail sportsbook connected to an MLB stadium.
In Ohio, BetMGM is also opening a retail sportsbook at the MGM Northfield Park racino near Cleveland. That MGMBet Sportsbook will begin taking bets at midnight during MGM Northfield Park’s annual New Year’s Eve party.
Bettors all over Ohio will also be able to use the BetMGM Sportsbook app to place bets after midnight on New Year’s Eve. BetMGM was one of 16 online sportsbooks recently given the go-ahead by Ohio regulators to begin taking bets on Jan. 1.
New BetMGM Sportsbook app users in Ohio who register and are fully verified before Jan. 1 can take advantage of a pre-launch deal to earn $200 in bet credits.
