Prime Sportsbook vaults above seven Ohio sportsbooks
Ohio’s newest online sports betting provider is seemingly making a good first impression with customers. Prime Sportsbook launched in mid-September, becoming Ohio’s 20th online sportsbook.
The new operator took in $366,001 in bets during the few weeks in September. The sportsbook exploded in October, taking in over $2.3 million in wagers, the 13th-most during the month.
While that may not seem impressive, keep in mind that Prime has been operating in Ohio for less than two months. It leapfrogged seven sportsbooks, five of which have been operating in The Buckeye State since January.
Prime generated over $66,000 in taxable revenue in October.
