JACK Cleveland Casino is hosting the JACK Poker Weekend Summer Warm-Up Series this week.
The series includes a main event with $600 buy-in and $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Events kicked off on May 24 and run through Memorial Day (May 29).
JACK Cleveland is among the most popular Ohio casinos for live poker and bigger tournaments.
Joe Schepis, the director of tournament operations at JACK Cleveland Casino, says the Summer Warm-Up Series is, “our biggest (Jack Poker Weekend) yet with $170,000 in guarantees.”
Series’ Main Event tournament runs throughout the weekend
The Summer Warm-Up Series’ No Limit Hold’em Main Event, with a $600 buy-in, begins Thursday, May 25 and runs through Sunday, May 28.
The Main Event has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool with three Day 1 flights running Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Events begin at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday and 12:15 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Day 2 will take place on Sunday beginning at 11:15 a.m.
The NLHE Main Event is an unlimited re-entry event. Players begin with 30,000 chips with 30-minute blind levels Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Those who remain on Sunday will see 40-minute levels.
Poker series also features women’s event and Memorial Day NLHE event
The JACK Cleveland Casino tournament series (which kicked off with a Seniors NLHE event for players 50 and up) also includes a Ladies Event on Sunday, with a $250 buy-in and $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The series concludes on Monday with a Memorial NLHE event with a $350 buy-in and $40,000 guaranteed prize pool.

JACK Casino Cleveland to host High Hand Fest in June
The poker action continues at JACK Casino Cleveland on May 30 and 31 with the casino’s High Hand Extravaganza, awarding $500 high hands every 20 minutes. The High Hand Extravaganza runs 10 am.-10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the JACK Cleveland Poker official Twitter (a good source for the latest poker happenings at the casino), JACK Cleveland Casino is hosting its first ever High Hand Fest in June.
High Hands will be running every day in June beginning at 8 or 9 a.m., with the High Hand Extravaganza happening every Wednesday, awarding $500 every 20 minutes.
JACK Cleveland hosted MSPT poker series earlier this year
The JACK Cleveland Casino poker room, which features over two dozen tables, hosts consistent tournament events throughout the year, including regular Jack Poker Weekends.
February saw the return of the Mid-States Poker Tour series to JACK Cleveland Casino. The Ohio Poker State Championship, with its $1,110 buy-in, drew 1,041 players, a record for the casino.
The February MSPT event had a $1,008,270 prize pool, making it the first ever prize pool to crack $1 million in Ohio casino history.
Amherst, Ohio’s Anthony Cico, in his first ever MSPT event, came in first place, winning $140,771.
