No promo codes are necessary for the DraftKings pre-launch offer. After signing up for an account, the $200 in bonus bets will be waiting for you on Jan. 1. The $200 is issued as eight $25 bonus bets that must be placed within seven days after being awarded.

DraftKings name recognition high in Ohio

In a recent PlayOhio survey, DraftKings’ name recognition was well ahead of its competitors in the marketplace. Of the 620 current Ohio sports bettors surveyed, 36.8% cited DraftKings when asked to name three legal U.S. sportsbooks. The next closest brand named was FanDuel at 27.1%.

When asked which sportsbooks they’d use in Ohio once sports betting goes live, 58.4% of respondents said they’d use DraftKings, ahead of FanDuel (52.3%), BetMGM (36.3%) and Caesars (28.6%).

Meanwhile, 24.5% of those surveyed said they already use DraftKings, compared to 17.1% who said they use FanDuel.
