Two popular Ohio casinos will soon feature cashless mobile wallets. JACK Entertainment is teaming up with Everi Holdings to bring digital wallets to the gaming market. JACK Entertainment will debut this new technology at both Thistledown Racino and JACK Cleveland Casino.
The cashless mobile wallet technology will roll out in phases. Once JACK Entertainment gets approval from Ohio regulators, expect to see these digital wallets in action.
Fund JACK wallets through kiosks, phones, or casino cage
The first phase includes a cashless funding feature. This is already live at Thistledown and should debut in Cleveland soon. Customers can deposit funds in their digital wallet using their phone, kiosks, or the casino cage. Once set up, players can these funds can easily access through touchless kiosks around the casino with the “Money To Go” feature.
The second phase will require regulatory approval. If cleared, it will allow customers to use their cashless digital wallet to directly fund the video lottery terminals and slot machines. Guests can also use the app for other in-casino purchases such as food, drinks, and merchandise.
Jack Entertainment’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Dunkeson talked about how these changes were all being made with the consumer experience in mind in the company’s press release:
“JACK Entertainment looks to lead the industry with unique and innovative amenities and using technology to create a better guest experience when they visit our properties. The launch of the mobile solution at JACK Thistledown Racino eliminates the need to handle cash on the casino floor, creating a frictionless experience for the customer and providing patrons with new, flexible options to fund their gaming.”
Everi Holdings has rolled out similar products before

Each partner casino can modify the technology to suit the specific needs of the property. Everi’s Executive Vice President Darren Simmons spoke highly of the latest Everi launch and partner:
