While Unibet’s second-chance bet is fairly easy to understand, it’s not quite as simple as placing a bet and receiving your money back if it loses. Here are the details:
If your first bet wins, Unibet pays out the winnings like it typically would and that’s that. Should the bet lose, Unibet will instead issue you bonus money equal to the losses of your wager, maxing out at $500.
Using bonus money at Unibet online sportsbook
Unibet Sportsbook will credit the bonus money to your account within 72 hours, although most of the time, it will appear almost instantly after your losing wager settles. To claim the bonus funds, you must wager them at least once (1x playthrough rate) at odds of -300 or higher.
For instance, if you place and lose a $250 bet, Unibet will issue you $250 in bonus funds. Then for every $1 you bet, the sportsbook will release $1 in bonus money. You will have 30 days to claim all your bonus money. Any funds not released within 30 days will expire.

None of these are dealbreakers, but they are areas where we would like to see Unibet improve.

You can combine moneylines, spread, totals, and some props, but Unibet could offer more prop betting options for SGPs.
- Lack of insurance promotions: Many of these promos allow you to get your money back if your parlay misses by just one leg, or your straight bet loses but something else happens during the game. Regrettably, Unibet does not have any standing promotions along these lines right now.
- No 24/7 customer support: This might or might not be an issue for you. Unibet’s customer service department is available seven days a week, but only from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Obviously, this could be an issue if you run into any problems during the late night or early morning hours.
Betting markets at Unibet
Unibet offers moneyline, point spread and over/under bets, all of which appear prominently on both the app and website. When you click on games, you’ll find myriad prop bets, as well. Here’s how Unibet displays odds for a sample game, followed by how the various bets work.

How moneyline bets work
What does moneyline mean? The moneyline is sportsbook-speak for “Who is going to win?” Moneyline odds indicate which team is the favorite/underdog and how much money you would win if you bet correctly.
When a team has negative moneyline odds, as the Reds do here, it is the favorite. Cincinnati’s -230 moneyline means a $230 wager would result in a $100 profit. Cleveland is the underdog, and the +185 indicates that a $100 wager would result in a profit of $185.
How spread betting works
For baseball betting, the spread is known as the run line. As the favorites, the Reds must win by more than the spread. Basically, they’ll have 1.5 runs subtracted from their total. The Indians, as the underdogs, can win the game by any amount or lose by just one run.
What betting the total means
Totals betting (aka over/unders) is when you wager on the combined total score of a game. With a total of 7.5, you are betting on either seven runs or fewer, or eight runs or more. It does not matter how many runs each team scores, just the combined total runs. And keep in mind, any scoring in extra innings or overtime adds to the total, unless the sportsbook states otherwise.
Prop betting at Unibet online sportsbook
When you select a game at Unibet online betting, you will see all the available wagers for that contest. This is where you will find prop bets, which are bets on whether specific events will take place. For our example, you could find prop bets for a player to hit a home run, a pitcher to record a certain number of strikeouts, which team will score first, etc.
Types of parlays offered at Unibet
For parlays, you choose two or more bets to combine into a single parlay. Each bet forms a link in your chain. If one of them loses, that link breaks, and thus your entire chain is ruined — in other words, your whole parlay loses. What makes parlay sports betting so appealing is the chance at winning a large amount of money with a relatively small bet. Unibet online sportsbook also offers single-game parlays for select sports. With single-game parlays you bet select multiple bets for just one game. Just like a regular parlay, all your bets have to be correct.

Also, if you bet on Team A or B, that side must win in regulation.
- Double result wagers: To win, you have to pick which team will be leading at halftime and at a game’s conclusion. These can be fun wagers to make instead of just picking which team is going to win the game. Since you essentially are making two bets, though, your odds of getting it right will be lower.
- Player prop bets: Unibet has a plethora of props for NFL games. You will find markets for players to score touchdowns (first, last or anytime), for how many rushing, passing or receiving yards they will finish with, and a whole lot more.
