The Funzpoints sign-up bonus is solid, with the 250 Premium points you receive slightly higher than what several other sweepstakes casinos offer. The first-purchase bonus is average, providing double the amount of points you’d normally receive when buying $4.99, $9.99 or $19.99 Standard point packages.
Funzpoints has a decent number of other unique bonus opportunities, but the daily bonuses I received from spinning the “Funzwheel” every three hours only provided free Standard points, which was disappointing.

My verdict on the Funzpoints Casino bonus
Funzpoints is a long-running sweepstakes casino featuring more than 100 unique slot games. As a new user, I was eligible to receive the Funzpoints welcome bonus, which awarded me 1000 Standard Funzpoints (the site’s version of Gold Coins) and 250 Premium Funzpoints (commonly called Sweeps Coins elsewhere) just for signing up for an account.
The Funzpoints welcome bonus compares well to other top Ohio sweepstakes casino offers. At Funzpoints, the redemption value of its Premium points is a little different than at other social casinos, with 100 Premium points equating to $1. But at Funzpointz, you can only play about 25 games in Standard mode if you don’t make a purchase. All games are unlocked in Standard mode for 30 days after you buy a Standard points package.

After my first day of playing at Funzpoints, I had turned the 250 Premium Funzpoints from the sign-up bonus into around 1,200 Premium points. So it is totally feasible that a user could reach the 2,000 Premium point minimum required before you can request a cash prize redemption within a couple of days.

- Mystery Games: Occasionally at Funzpoints, a mystery bonus game will randomly pop up offering a chance to win point bonuses. I was offered to play a game called Firework Fandango, for which I received 3000 Standard points and 20 Tickets. When you get a mystery game while playing in Premium mode, you can win Premium points.

It’s easy to sign up for an account at Funzpoints, after which I received the sign-up bonus of 1,000 Standard points and 250 Premium points. The bonus is delivered in two increments, but the information you need to provide is akin to what other sweepstakes casinos require.
First, I provided my email address and chose a username and password, after which I was sent a code to verify my email. That netted me the 1,000 Standard points. The next step was to give my name, phone number, home address and date of birth. After verifying my phone number, I received the 250 Premium points. It took me around 5 minutes to complete registration.

Having played at many other sweepstakes casinos, I was immediately surprised with how different the Funzpoints website looks. Instead of a home page featuring rectangle game tiles in a variety of different sections based on themes or types of games that you scroll down to see, Funzpoints has all of its games and features on one short page that doesn’t require you to scroll down. Instead of rectangle tiles, the games are in circles and you scroll through a carousel to see them all.
That’s not the worst thing in the world, as many sites go overboard with too many superfluous sections that make the site seem cluttered and harder to navigate. But the Funzpoints site, visually, looks generic and like it was made on a shoestring budget in the early 2000s.
There is also no search function and no way to “favorite” slots you like, so you have to scroll through the 100+ titles each time you’re looking for a game. The site also seemed to take up a lot more of my computer power than most other sweeps casino sites. When I tried to do other things with the Funzpoints site open, it slowed down my computer so much that I’d have to log out instead of leaving it on in the background.
The simplified layout isn’t all bad. You have easy access to your Premium and Standard points balance at the top of the page, where you can choose which mode to play in. There you’ll also find the points store and a dropdown menu that provides quick access to your profile, the redemption section, the help center and more.
The mobile version of the Funzpoints website isn’t user-friendly at all. The site is not optimized for mobile use when playing on a smartphone or tablet, so the homepage and games appear very small. Turning my phone horizontal helps a little, but the page sizing is still off.
Did I like the Funzpoints Casino app?
Funzpoints is only playable through desktop and mobile web browsers and doesn’t have a dedicated app that you can download for Android or Apple devices. I think that’s unfortunate, given how poorly the website functions on mobile.

Many sweepstakes casinos feature a larger and more diverse catalog of games, which are often provided by various top developers, like Relax Gaming, Evoplay and Pragmatic Play. That gives those libraries a better sense of diversity and users will often be able to find their favorite games on a few different sites.
The slots at Funzpoints are fine, with fast, glitch-free gameplay and various features, like free spins. What’s missing from the library?
Funzpoints could really use a few more non-slot game options. I always like to take a break from slots to try out some table games or live-dealer titles, but Funzpoints has none of that. How quickly did I get a response?
